These are the things we have yet to implement on the board (aka hack)
1) link to forums on "vbindex" Main page - DONE
2) quick reply at the bottom of the threads - DONE
3) email notification... not including message preview = FIXED
4) tally/listing of all members logging in that day - DONE
5) contract/expand options within thread
6) some animated smilies not working
7) text of posts missing on middle colum on Main "vbindex" page - DONE
 contributor status indicators - DONE
...
anything else?

I think the latest version is actually 2.3.0 RC3, which is what we upgraded to over this last weekend.... we're hoping that all of our old "hacks" will work with this new version.

You are correct, it's been a long day. I'm using 2.2.9 and waiting for 2.3.0 to be final. Then I'll wait for 3.0 to go final before upgrading. From what I read at the VBulletin forums you should have no problems with your hacks working. Thanks again for this forum.

I can't wait for 3.0 to be release.... looks like almost all of the hacks we like will already be built right into that build!

My users would give their firstborn for a spell checker. I tried a hack but it didn't work and there won't be one in 3.0.

dunno if its my browser (phoenix 0.5), but when i click on "go to the first unread message," i am taken to the last message in the thread, which is not the first unread message. i just double checked with IE and see the same thing happening, so it is not browser-dependent

This won't help your non-IE users, but there is a free spell checker for Internet explorer here http://www.iespell.com/ that works great when posting to this board.

spellcheck
Alan...
I downloaded the software, but noticed it doesn't come up in the toolbar for all sights, like this one. It's not there...
Am I doing something wrong?

if you customized your toolbar, you need to go to the customize setting and add it to your toolbar.
you can also right click on the screen or go to tools...
