Suggest making it possible to email directly to a poster, in addition to posting on the site.

I, for example, only rarely read this site. Email would make conversations faster.

Options:

(1) hide the email address

(2) make the message clickable, to encourage others to return to this site to post.

(3) inform only - "You have a response to one of your posts" - rather than full text.

When you create a new topic there is the option at the bottom of the screen for e-mail notification. It will send you an e-mail each time someone posts a response. Is this what you are wanting?
