seems too cumbersone. using the phone, especially for business, need to toggle back and forth a lot. this wasn't thought through. on my old motorola, was a matter of hitting the function key followed by another to toggle back and forth. with the 6035, you have to go to settings, sounds...

Press and hold down the button with the bell icon beneath the numeric pad. This will toggle the ringer on or off...

More on the button with the "bell" on it on the front of the 6035 that controls vibrate and ring.

Press the same button for less than a second and you have other immediate options of being able to change your ringer volume much quicker than using the menu. Hold it down for 2 seconds or more and it toggles vibrate and ring.
