I wish to purchase a replacement screen (economically) for my P800 phone. All assistance is appreciated. I really liked the phone but cannot afford to send it back to Sony. Thanks in advance

My P800 screen seems to be working okay but the 'touch screen' part isn't? I mean if I click something by touching with the 'pen' it doesn't respond. Is this a fault with the screen itself?

I am assuming you can’t even dial a number. Because, if you are able to dial a number that means you have a bad settings somewhere. I am also assuming that you tried to reset and reformat the phone and reinstalled all the software; if not, try that.

Normally if your input from touch is being ignored by the phone. That means there might be a hardware problem, that doesn’t necessary mean you have a bad screen nor dose it insure that you have a good screen. If this problem is new and it occurred after you dropped the phone or something I don’t know what the tell you.

It might or might not be your screen. But before buying a new screen, if you are confident enough, you should take the phone a part and reassemble it. That might solve the problem.

If your phone functions fine apart from the LCD (you can make/receive calls) then it's most likely that the LCD is at fault and a new LCD should solve the problem

All online stores, in the UK at least, have to offer a 7 day cooling off period by law, so if you bought a new screen online and fitted it but then found out that it didn't solve the problem you could send it back for a refund

I have only touch screen (not the whole LCD display) for p800.I need the plastic glass that is between the touch screen and display(the glass that is transfering the light through the whole screen).If you have that part or if you can find it we can make trade.I'll send you the touch screen and you'll send me the plastic glass.Please post soon as you can!!!
