VERY good updated look!
Question. It used to be that when I got to the end of the thread, I would see the path back to the thread index page, click on it and I would be back on it with the thread I was in marked read. Now, when I get to the end of the thread there is no way back to the index with out scrolling all the way to the top to find the path. Using the Brouser back arrow takes me back but doesn't update with read/unread markings.
How should I be doing it?

I'd like to pick the colors that the text and forums display in to make it easier on the eyes. On sites where you can do this it's typically one of the selections in the user preferences area.

Before I forget, your signature is in violation of our site rules... two lines max.
I think you are referring to the cookie crumb which is up top. I generally read the forums regularly and just hit back to get back out to the forum, or I go to the top. I guess you are saying that the cookie crumb used to be at the bottom too. I didn't remember that. I'll add that to the list of possible modifications in the future.

OK, now I got you. We have never offered alternative skins at PDAPhoneHome. The color scheme is different, but the colors of the forums are pretty much the same that they were before. I will add it to our list of future enhancements to look at a light on dark skin as an option. It will be something that might be offered in the future, but it is currently not in any of our immediate plans. With the level of modification that we have had in the past, it simply wasn't practical to do the site in multiple skins.

Mike, sorry if this has been mentioned before, but sometimes the drop down menu under Misc. Links won't open up. That seems to be the easiest way to "mark all the forums read". But when I can't open it, I have to jump around to mark them read. Has anyone ran into this?

Same here, its very intermittent. Sometimes when I click on that link it will just freeze that screen up.

Just hit the forum jump button on the bottom of the page?
This will bring you back and refresh the page.

I think the bread crumb thing ( PDAPhoneHome.com > pdaPhoneHome General Stuff > Site Problems and Suggestions > Forum Upgrade - Report Problems Here ) used to be at the bottom of the page also, so you could one click back to the forum. So in the case of this thread, he could hit Site Problems and Suggestions to get back to the forum. Its not that way now. I have been using the New Posts feature a lot now, because it really remembers what you've read.

What browser and version are you guys using? The other day when we were doing testing I was having problems with that, but then it has been fine since then. I believe I was using Firefox when having problems. I have been using IE a bit now because of he spell check feature.
