I won't complete this now, but I wanted to start a thread to keep track of what get's done to the site.
Tonight - I added the ability to sort the forums, and implemented a new database backup program.... if you saw something weird happen around 6pm EST, that was me making a big oops. I also killed the flash page so you go straight to the home page, and added some FAQs.
The big thing that got added was by Vikes98... he added the Dialer Skins section which is a big new feature. He will be moderating that area.
Also, Isaac has become the moderator for the HTC and T-Mobile areas.
Yesterday - I added the file upload/download capability and also a rating system for user feedback on what they like. We'll be testing it on the skins area, and maybe the FAQs. Need some feedback on how useful it is. These changes caused the need for a new database backup plan.
I'll pick up from now, since I posted other threads on changes that have already been done.
Tonight I split the PocketPC Phone Edition page so that you guys can see your real device that you've picked from the icon menu... I can theoretically add all of the different ones..... but I probably won't do so unless I'm asked.
This update affected all of the FAQ pages for all the device types, so keep an eye for any wierd behaviour.
Handheld Version - nothing done
Online Store - started a basic store... will be growing it over time
Recently changed FAQs - implemented 3 different methods
Search a specific FAQ page - you can already do this
Article section - done
Add rotation - just put this in... need to migrate the remaining adds to it and reduce the number of adds on each page.
Symbian Devices - done
Kyocera Devices - done
Samsung Devices - done
Palm Devices - done
Smartphone Devices - done
I update the site with a new logo, and new navigation bar a few days ago. I also fixed a number of image and table problems in the pages. The result was a minor glitch with Mozilla. When you tried to post a message, the page would move. Well, I think I fixed that. If anyone still has problems with Mozillla, let me know. This version of the site should work better on Mozilla than the older version now.
Navigation bar had a problem with the Forums dropdown.. it pointed to the wrong pages... that's fixed now.
