Hi Shimon,
Thanks for your assistance, both on this forum and by email.
My phone is a
Kyocera 7135. As you suggested, I did attempt to dial a single string of 36 digits and did receive the error message that indicated that strings of over 33 digits were not acceptable. This would suggest that Kyocera has some limitations on the number of digits in a single phone string.
In the Kyocera phone preferences setup, it is possible to setup a dialing sequence which first dials your calling card access number (provided that the phone number that you are calling has a different area code than your phone's home area code), then dials the number your are calling, and then dials your calling call number + PIN number. This procedure works well as long as I am calling from my local area code location.
However, once I leave my local area code location and start to roam, this calling card sequence breaks down. The Kyocera still implements the calling card sequence only if the area code of the number that I am calling differs from my home area card number. However, since I am roaming, all of my my home area code numbers are now long distance numbers.
I had hoped to be able to use TAKEphONE to give me the option on every call of either using my calling card or dialing direct. In this way, I could use my calling card when roaming.
Is there a way in TAKEphONE that I could set up a dialing sequence that would first send the carding card access number, then the number being called, and then the calling card number + the PIN number without the programme treating this sequence as one unbroken dialing sequence?
Many thanks for your assistance.
