The login / password that is supplied to log on to the symbian ftp to download the UIQ 2.1 SDK does not work, and if you try to go to the webpage ( http://www.symbian.com/developer/sdks_uiq21.asp ) to download it, symbian informs you that they are having ftp difficulty, but you it lets you download other stuff, such as the 2.0 sdk.

Does anyone know of somewhere else i can download the uiq 2.1 sdk?

I'm currently following the tutorial on how to unlock my a920.

yes i have noticed that myself as well

but you can still use the V2.0 for the same purpose...as long as you install the update (it will be in the same ftp location) it will give you exactly the same results as the 2.1 one...

If you flash your phone you don't need to use the symbian sdk to install applications or games...
