I had to do a hard rest on my i600. Did the #,9 end thing and then the left soft key. I now have a screeen like this (I let it go for an hour while I was at lunch):

OK is this finished erasing and how do I Reboot. I tried the end key but no response. Do I remove the battery or am I really screwed

Haven't done a hard reset for so long, I forgot how. But I don't think that your steps are correct.

I fixed it. I just removed and replaced the battery after the hard reset then waited about 5 minutes for startup. I had about 150 contacts. My problem was that all of a sudden I could not remote synch with our EAS server. My PDA was fine but the i600 kept giving me an error so I just did a hard reset and all is well.

Sorry for the very duumy question: but what is the left soft key? I tried every left keys with #-6-end combination but the phone didnt reset..
help pls
