I buy my SPH-i550 in Ecuador and I want to connected in Peru. The only way is unlocked the MIN. My fone have Ecuador's MIN by defect (021). I need to unlocked and programing Peru's MIN (019). Somebody now how???

I think that the MIN might be hard-coded into the phone. Normally it is just the phone number assigned to that phone.

You can see the MIN and the MSID (sometimes same as MIN) if you dial ##DATA# (##3282#) and enter the SPC and choose edit. Here I can edit the MCC (country code) and MNC (network code). But my phone won't allow me to edit the MIN or MSID. Just says illegal value to anything but the number that's already there.

I don't know how it would get in there other than by the phone co. sending it into the phone when they activate it.

You say the MIN in your phone is 021. I think it should be a ten-digit number, the phone number assigned to the phone.

Not sure if there is a way to change it. If anyone knows, post away...
