New Touch - No Wait...it's gone

Got the new HTC Touch Tuesday. Exchanged it Friday.

Spent many, many hours trying to get it to sync with the PC and failing, I am returning the phone and am back to using the I500.

??? strange, shouldn't be an issue, and particularly, not a reason to give up on the Touch (there are other reasons perhaps, but not getting syncing to work). It is not a general problem with the Touch, so there must be something specific to your setup... I presume you tried to ask in the appropriate forums for help...

8notime has been very helpful but "run out of ideas".

I get Media Player to sync to the Touch so I have a bunch of songs on it but ActiveSync says that contacts and appointments are syncing but nothing shows up on the Touch. Sprint Advanced Technical Support has spent many, many hours trying to figure this out but no success yet.

What are you syncing contacts and appointments with on the desktop? I had an issue with installation of ActiveSync due to my using Eudora mail as my email client....and I'm syncing with Lotus Organizer using XTNDConnect.

I know this is an i500 thread...and I'm missing my i500
