Unhappy I think my phone is broken can it be fixed?

My i500 is broken. keyboard and screen is just flashing the "palm logo" but wont start. I reset it several times and it charged. I didnt drop it or anything. Can it be saved? I realy liked it.

Sounds like FSOD (flashing screen of death). It should be fine if you hard reset it (see the FAQ for how to hard reset).

If that doesn't work, take the battery off and leave it off for 24-48 hours, until the internal battery discharges. Then put the battery back and turn it on.
