Since I was forced to change to nWeb from Blazer my text messaging out no longer works. I had downloaded a freeware SMS program several years ago which worked fine if you specified the carrier. It no longer works at all.
Any suggestions?

http://www.pdaapps.com/support.html Has one that is free to try, and works great. Make sure you have the XG30 firmware version (use ##786 to check). I paid the money to register it since its a one time deal. Their VeriChat works great, but you have to renew the license each year.

Hey, has anyone ever been able to figure out how to get the sender's contact information [name, phone number] when you receive text messages on the I500? I only get a name/number from other Sprint users, everyone else comes across as Unknown. Please let me know when you have the chance, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Brian
