Can the I330 be used as a Phone Jack? I want to use the telephone as a telephone and hook it to my computer's modem. I want to dial from my Laptop through the I330 to connect to my work's network?

umm so you want to use the i330 as a modem for your pc? thats easy, but not sure if your company will allow outside use from a foreign isp (such as sprint).


also, sprint does not want you to use your phone as a modem.. it in the fine print of your contract...

No. My modem is in my PC (laptop). I just want to use the I330 as a telephone connection, a phonejack. Just like I would plug my laptop into a wall phone jack in a hotel (or whereever) to dial into my work network, I want to plug my laptop into my I330 to dail into my work network.


Or, is there a way I can dial into my work network and sync the I330 with my email?

if you are on a private network at your job, then you will need to contact your IT guy/gal to see if they wll let sprint thru..

see, no matter what you do you will have to go thru sprints network in order to do anytyhing...


you will, in essence, be using the phone as a modem for your pc (laptop) even though you have a modem in your laptop.. the mdoem in your laptop is a dialup modem... the i330 uses the vision network.. you will have to use the phone as your modem...
