i only have TWO......

KILL BLAZER. MAKE THE UNIT EASIER TO USE WITH SOMETHING ELSE

andgimmie a damn expansion slot

i guess we can all stop complaining now.

samsung is no longer going to produce a palm os unit after the i500 is finished in production.

guess this will become the i700 forum for pocket pc as the i6 still sucks and will suck. this smartphone has no smarts and has no expandability!
i guess samsung doesnt really listen anyways!

Talking Alarm Clock

Downlaod Airclock from handango. Hot sync...Then go to Scott's site i330.nopidesign.com and download the x master hack in the apps page..hotsync..then downlaod the alarm extension and shutups if u want them. You will then have this kick ass alarm clock that is as load as anything. I travel allot and this setup worked great for me. I sleep deep and this alarm is loud with polyphonics.

I keep my i330 in the cradle on my desk at work- and the main thing I need is an app that...

a) Automatically activates a clock app when I put the phone in the cradle,

and

b) Keeps the backlight on while it's in the cradle.

I need a good deskclock, and it'd be REALLY useful to use my phone for that purpose, since it's got to be on my desk anyway.

Requests...

1) Restore the Voice Dial and Speed Dial entries after a hard reset (i.e. back them up on a HotSync in the first place!)

2) Real USB (not usb-to-serial)

3) Optional, user-configurable sound "modes," e.g., "Shhhh!", "At My Desk", "In a meeting", "Driving a NASCAR." Each mode would allow me to set the volume, etc. of all sounds emeniating from phone. I may really only have four modes: Shhhhh (don't bug be at all), In a meeting (discrete notifications), regular walking-around (medium tones), and riding in open Jeep (throw everying you can at me!)

4) Restore the Voice Dial and Speed Dial entries after a hard reset (i.e. back them up on a HotSync in the first place!)

5) Expansion cards with file storage (c.f., JumpDrive)

6) MP3

7) Restore the Voice Dial and Speed Dial entries after a hard reset (i.e. back them up on a HotSync in the first place!)

Free upgrades for I330 users!

wireless cochlear implant via bluetooth to the phone

a myReplayTV.com handango port

better IR so I can actually screw with my friend's cable boxes from my phone

less hard resets

less weird random incidents of unit turning on

in call log, option for "alternate numbers" for contact (like if they call from home, I can access their mobile number from there)

I-330 Accessories

I had a Samsung I-330 and my son dropped in the parking lot. When I went to Best Buy, they could not replace it because they did not sale them any more. I had to get a Treo 600 it nice but I thank I liked the I-330 better.

The reason for this post is that I have some accessory that I can use anymore and would take the best offer, I understand that they will work on the I500 too they are:

Samsung key board never used. I paid $80
Travel charger I paid $40
Car charger I paid $40

Area code rules for easier phone dialing/storing.
(Since it's software, should be easy to fix)

May I suggest you try TAKEphONE (www.shsh.com/products) ?
It can handle area-code formatting, as well as calling-cards, etc.
