I'm having some USB issues with syncing the i300 with my G4 733 and iBook DVD. On both machines, the i300 will selectively sync (whenever it wants to).

Palm.com has info on this update for 3.5.3 that is supposed to resolve these issues.

Good idea?

IMHO I don't think it's a good idea. I was told the Palm OS on the I300 was customized for the I300 and that you could only use updates if they came from Samsung.

That is correct, you will have to wait for an upgrade specifically for the I300.

I get the same thing here with my macs... I sync with my G4/733, G4/800 DP, and my PowerBook G4....

when it doesn't work, I just restart and sync..

the palm .3 update is NOT for pir palm OS. the .2 its ok for it! if you dont have .2. then dl it! its also availabe in the install folder in thr palm desktop..
