Yellow Light on Charger Blinking

OK, love my new (about a week and a half) i300. However, on Friday I started to get a blinking yellow light on the charger when charging. I read the manual and it tells you that the battery temp may be too high or too low, or that the charger is plugged in incorrectly...
I may not be the most technical guy in the world (but certainly far from the least, if I do say so m'self:p ) but I'm operating at room temp here in my office and the plug thing seems pretty simple. I've even tried a different outlet. Anyone have experience with this?
BTW, the battery indicates that it is fully charged...

how? do you see this on the phones bar graph at the top? do you have L III on similiar that gives you a readout of the batt level?

clean your contacts..its possibile the charger is having some issues with "communicating" with the battery.. do both batteries have the same blinking light?

If this persists. Take the battery back for an exchange. I experienced the same thing with and aftermarket i300 battery. It doesn't do good things to your i300.

I'm guessing you have a defective battery.

I too have experienced this same flashing yellow light problem. It has nothing to do with the battery as far as I can tell. The reason I can safely say this is because I've got two desktop charging stations in two different locations. I put the i300 into one and it charges great. The other charging station just flashes a yellow light. Hmmm....

the differences between the two stations is that one is connected to a laptop and the one which is flashing the yellow light is not (serial cable not connected to computer). I'll try some tests and let you know if connecting to the computer has anything to do with it.

If I remember correctly, the manual states that if the battery is not within the temp specs, the yellow light flashes.

Station Failure

Well, here was the scenario:

I brought both desktop charging stations together and put a room temperature i300 in one station and it charged with the normal red light. Pulled it out and put it into the second charging station, got NO LIGHT and then pulled it out of the station. Tried to put it back into the same station and the flashing YELLOW light came on. Took the same i300 and put it into the original station and it charged just fine with the RED light.

Obviously, the one with the YELLOW light is a faulty station without exception as they are both side-by-side in the same configuration using the same devices.

Anybody contacted Samsung for warranty service/replacement yet? Would that be a Sprint issue or a Samsung issue?

Thanks

Update

Talked with Samsung tech support today and they walked me through some tests which still resulted in the yellow light flashing.

They recommended taking an eraser and rubbing it on the charging station gold connecting pins. After performing this and testing again, the same result.

They have decided to issue an RMA.

Final Update

Received a replacement charger from the folks at Samsung (got here quick!!!--they sent via FED EX on their tab). Very Nice

New charger works great. It was indeed a bad charger

Charging Base Light Flashing

When i have the phone in the charger the light just flashes orange at me. Hotsync works, but it's not charging the battery. I've just been swapping batteries because it will charge in the secondary slot. I've cleaned the pins on the bottom of my phone and on the base, none of them are damaged, but it still won't work. it's been like this for a few days now.... got any ideas of what's wrong?

Have you tried another charger? If you have a Sprint PCS store locally, they can test your batteries for you to make sure that they are not the problem. But it does sound like a charger issue. They should be able to swap that out also, if it is determined that it is bad.

Let me know how it goes and if you problem is resolved. If not, I might be able to help.
