I just wanted to make sure that this message from prelusion didn't get lost in the shuffle of another thread. It sounds like Sprint is offering software upgrades for the i300, but the phones need to be brought in to a service center. Has anybody else heard this, or, prelusion, can you clarify/add any more info?

its not lost , he has popsted a thread about it...

CERTAIN sprint sotres with the hardware can do the updates. its up to the individual persone to call a local store in their area to see if it can be done.

this is nothing new. sprint stores have been doing this since the 6035 and even on non pda phones. verizon has been doing it also.

I saw his message in the USB thread, but I don't see any thread regarding software updates, at least not recently.
