Good guy who has inexpensive yet excellent quality (just keep any kind of moisture away from it) screen protectors.
He will also custom make screen protectors for any style PDA that he doesnt already have a measurement for.
Its $11 for 12 protectors. I have been using them for several months, both on my old Kyocera 6035 and on my current i300 and they are excellent and smooth and very promptly delivered.
Hmm. I bought these from him but had to return them; (he was prompt with a refund, btw; what he sent me was no better then cut transparencies; and they tended to stick to my face/come off when I used the phone.

I'm sorry they didnt work out for you. The only problem I've had with them is the fact that they dont like moisture. Mine have never slipped off nor come off easily; at the same time they in no way have been difficult to remove, nor have they left any residue on my screen.
The only thing I can think of is that your face may be pressed too tightly against the phone and the oil in your skin i.e. moisture, caused the protector to loosen and stick to your face. I have always been carefull to avoid making contact between my cheek and the screen. If thats too much of hassle for anyone then I understand the decision to return the protectors. If you dont mind that technicality and can keep all moisture from touching them then I believe it is more than worth it.
I've had to be careful and dilligent when asfixing them to my screen but once they are on I am nothing but pleased with the results.
Yes fortunately he is good about the refund thing.
If you go to Office Depot and buy a pack of Self-Adhesive Laminating sheets and cut them to size and are quite clear and stick very well, but not too well. They are stickier than normal pda screen protectors and in my opinion I like this way better.
It cost between $3-$5 for pack of 10 sheets. Just create a cardboard template to the size of your screen and then use it to cut the exact size you need from the sheet with a blade or scissors. I would estimate that a 10pack would make atleast 150-200 protectors.
Joe
i have the companion links and ive had them since october, and im only on my first one.. yeah i paid a bit for them, but they work well and this one im on has yet to peel or bubble up!
I have yet to see my protectors bubble up or peel, as long as the screen is cleaned before applying. I have only changed the improvised protector once in three months and that was because I recieve some free PDA ones and compusa, I didn't like their texture and they did bubble up pretty quickly. so I switched to my cheaper version.....I stand by my opinion that the self-laminating sheets are atleast worth looking into.......3-5 dollars is a cheap experiment if you are wanting to try anyway
Originally posted by yorch Marc, are those protectors worth it?..I had heard a lot of them, but I'm afraid that they may lower the visibility on the screen.
the visibility is not hampered ad no bubbles.. its really easy to put on.. no need to clean the screen.. just wipe it off is about all i did. the texture of the protector doesnt harm the graffiti or the touch screen.. they ARE a bit pircey, but worth it when it comes to protecting a major investment as this phone...
