I assume this isn't possible but.....

Is there a way to make the mute/unmute toggle for the phone easy to get to? I would like to make it a button or like the speakerphone switch.

Right now, the only way I can figure out how to get there is to pull out the stylus and work through the drop down box. This isn't ideal when you are on the phone and want to mute/unmute quickly to jump into a conversation.

Maybe I could grow a long pointed fingernail so I could better get to the dropdown -- but I assume that would interfere with real life.

i do believe thats the only way at this point, unless someone make s a hack, which i have not heard of any.. but you could take a peek at palmgear.com to see.. but if you do find a hack, use caution.. not all palm apps work on the i300..
