I had a hard failure over the weekend. Went to power on and the battery was dead. When I put in a new battery the unit started from a hard reset (backup battery must have been drained).

When I tried to restore (backupbuddy installed), I got a DataMgr error, with resets. I deleted lots of apps, but the I300 was still acting weird.

Last night I finally did a hard reset, and loaded all from scratch.

After calling BackupBuddy, they suggested not "backing up" some of the Samsung specific modules. Question is, how do I determine which modules do what, ie - which modules should be ignored in BackupBuddy?

I have recovered from many hard resets completely using Palm desktop 4.0.. I am not really sure if BackupBuddy adds any value.

Yeah, I agree. the only information I have lost on Hard Resets was recent numbers, and game scores.... Big whoop.

id say your wasting your time and $$ with BB... 4.0.1 does just as well.
