Keep display off on incoming call?

I work in theatre and frequently like to keep my phone on but the ringer off while working.

Is there a hack that will stop the display from coming on when I get a call, and just let the LED blink?

Also, is there a hardware key that will answer the phone regardless of what app the PDA is in when you get a call? I'd love to be able to keep the display off when I get a call and still answer the call.

Thanks for the help!

hardware key - while in pda mode, you can press the phone icon to answer the call without changing to the phone UI. when done, tap the handset icon on the screen to disconnect, which also avoids toggling to the phone ui.

If you're in pda mode, I'm assuming the display is on, so dunno if that helps your situation. i'm not aware of any hack to keep the display off when it rings....

have not seen a hack for this yet, but could be possibile... give pdaapps a buzz to see if they would include that in a version of their hardware..
