So I finally hooked up my I300 to my computer. When I hit the hotsync button it proceeded to load all my stuff from my Palm IIIxe backup. So now I have all the applications and data from that unit.

Well I haven't used it (IIIxe) for about a year so some of the stuff is kind of dated but it kind of freaked me out when it happened. So I guess this kind of eraticated any doubt in my mind about compatibility.

Some of the apps work and some don't.

never sync old stuff to your i300... always do a virgin sync and install apps yourself.. you will encounter errors if you keep doing that..

also, go to palm.com and get DESKTOP 4.0.1... tons beter than 3.1
