Tap and then draw a horizontal line left to right and back to the left will yield and underscore ( _ ). Tap and then draw a horizontal line left to right will yield a dash (-). This appears third screen in your graffiti hints (command-G).
I am usually in the onscreen keyboard by tis time....

"type"was the misunderstood word. Clearly, however, Mr. Stank knew how to type an underscore. See for yourself. He did not know how to "type" it, however.
Sorry MJ, I didn't mean to come off hard, but some people may have a problem transitioning from a regular keyboard to the Palm. Not knowing exactly what he was asking,whether keyboard or shortcut, I'd rather just try and answer his question than have people that are new to the Palm be afraid to ask. I wouldn't be good for the board.
Oh yeh! while I'm at it, where the heck is the character map.
I knew that Skip. I probably would... well maybe not have posted the same thing. But I have followed the same thought process in other posts. You must admit friend, it was a prime opportunity for a laugh. No biggie. You'll get me next time! :p
