I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, and it is still backordered. That doesn't stop me from checking the status a couple of time every day though! I'm still most interested in whether or not the case fit is better than the pics on eb's website.
I am also waiting for my E&B case. I sent an email to them on Friday (1/11/02) and received the following response:
"Thank you for your interest in our products and your patience. We have
received one small shipment of the non belt clip version of that case. We
have not yet received any with clip. We hope to have our first small
shipment of those cases next week. We will ship the cases the same day we
receive them. Thank you!
Got my non-belt clip version last week. Fits very snugly. For example, looking at it now, I can see the outline of the battery, including the Samsung on the inside lining.
Its not exactly what I wanted, but my issues are purely personal preferences. It's the case I'll keep.
I ordered my E&B slipper case with belt clip on 12/15/01. I JUST received an email today stating that my case has been shipped. Amazing, since I just sent them an email a couple of days ago asking where the heck my case was.
I'm not sure of the dimensions of the extended battery, but I'm going to guess they did not design this case with that battery in mind.
The fit is tight enough that to get the phone out, I grab the antenna with one hand and pinch the seam at the bottom of the case with the thumb and forefinger of the other hand and pull rather hard to slide it out.
