I recently woke up and just found my phone with the charging end still in it and the wire that leads up to it laying on the floor. I have absolutly no idea how it got ripped apart over night, but now have to fix it. My dilemma is that I have no idea which two pins of the 5 available to me I am to attach the positive and the negitive to. If anyone knows the pin configuration, or has the same (travel style) charger commonly sold with the phone on ebay, you can simply take apart the end and see its internals. There is no glue or any sort of clips to it... it simply pulls apart and slides back together... if someone does have this style I would greatly appreciate you taking a look inside and letting me know which to use.... Thanks to everyone on this forum in advance... I have browsed it for a while but havn't needed to join unitl now... Most questions have arleady been answered in previous threads... Thanks again...
Can't anyone help me... Look at the situation here, I have a phone that I am paying for and I cannot use it at all. I have important calls that NEED to be coming in and going out and I can't make or receive them. And going to sprint stores proves useless as they basically laughed at me for having such and old phone and just recently buying it to boot. On a search on ebay I turned up one search result that may not even be there any more. This is a VERY VERY easy task that I am asking from someone out there. The connector simply pulls apart... It may help to use a small flathead screw driver, but it basically just pulls apart. And there are no worries about putting it back together, as it just simply slides back together... No damage will be done... please, someone out there just take a look and let me know which to pins to use, and which order the red and black go in. I dont even know why there are more than two pin options... it makes no sense, there is only two wires.... I NEED YOUR HELP
I also wanted to add that guessing isnt a viable option. As the phone doesnt have any indication of it getting charged when the charger is plugged in... This means that guessing the pins and placing them in wouldnt only prove dangerous to the phone but sensless to do, as I would have no idea if its working or not until about a half hour later.
Ok, little more research shows that samsung doesnt even sell the charger any more. And I cant find it on ebay at all, so this is gonna be the only shot. They also couldnt provide any info on the pins. Totally useless to even call them.
