Question What software?

Hi:

A friend just gave me his old I300. He does not have the software CD.

I would like to sync with Outlook XP and also update the I300 OS as it locks up once in a while. It has version 1.0.

The amazing thing about this phone, it's that it hardly drops any calls while driving. Signal strength is high and very clear communication. I just gave away my Samsung N200. This phone drops calls at an alarming rate.

What route can I go with Outlook and updating the OS?

Thanks in advance,

you can call your local sprint store to see if they have any firmware updates to install on your phone.

there is no "software" that you need except the palm desktop 4.1 but you can get that from the palm site directly.

if your phone is locking up its probably due to some app thats installed on the phone. one of my phones is an i300 i have had since October 2001 and it does not lock up or go thru resets and i have the original firmware on the phone...

Got it!

Thanks Mark!

Just downloaded 4.1 and it works great with Outlook!! I'll look into the lock-ups.

Thanks again,

Marc
