One thing I also liked about the LED on the 6035 is that it blinked green to let you know you were on Sprint's network, stayed solid green when you were connected on a call, and flashed red when roaming or no service. Does the i300 LED do anything like this? It seems pretty useless to me.

right.. only when it comes on does the light blink... perhaps we are missing something.. fiske, what do you think?

hmmm.... mine blinks red when a call comes in.... thats it...

an update/hack would probably bring more functionality to it...

my startac had a bunch of options for the LED.....

yes, thats what mine does also. so i guess we are not mssing anything... carl is right.. i think the led is underutilized...
