Angry Broken I300

Hopefully someone can help me here. It looks like my phone is on the fritz. For about the past week, the phone would occaisonally lock and prompt a hard reset (e.g. inserting stylus in back of phone). Today it locked and after resetting it, the introductary screen "Palm Computing Platform" flashes quickly but endlessly (along with black lines down the center of the intro screen). Changing batteries, etc. proved to be of no use.

Has this happened to anyone before?

Suggestions?

Thanks,

ok - i held the power button in while the screen was flashing and it did a real hard reset and erased all data.

for a second I thought I had an excuse to upgrade

Same problem

I am having the same problem. I checked the battery, and when I plug a new one in, it powers up to a 'press up cursor to erase all data'. If I press 'no', it starts flashing the Palm screen repeatily. The only way to get out is a soft reset or remove the battery and start the same process again.

I don't really want to do a hard reset if I don't have to since I have also been having problems with my Outlook sync.

Any suggestions welcome.

Unhappy

I just had the same problem with my I300...the only solution is to press the "up" button and erase all the data.

Me Too!!

Lifes weird. I just read about the flashing logo and low and behold it happened to me today. Phone crashed and then on Soft Reset I got a flashing black screen/Palm Logo. I had to do a hard reset. Personally, Im suspicious of SilverScreen, just installed it last night and this happens. Never had a problem in 6 months before this. Anyone else using SS?

Yep...I had just finished installing Silver Screen when the flashing screen hit me...no problems at all before then.
