Hello folks,

I am just getting my i300 going and the installer it has keeps getting reloaded and then the i300 tells me it is not compatible with the installer.

I have mac osx and it is installer 3.5.3

The actual error message reads in the i300 after sync:

"This installer is not compatible with your device. Please contact the manufacturer for a compatible installer."

Then it says I may delete the installer, which I do. The next time I synch, it installs it again.

you need to delete it from your backup and archive folder. thats why it keeps installing...


3.5.3 wil NOT load on the i300... the installer is not compatible with the 300 but the software is... its not worht trying to install as you are not gaining much of anything with that update...

I successfully deleted it from my palm backup folder, but couldn't find the archive.

And it still wants to install.

Thoughts?
