Big news for mac users.... Palm has released beta versions of Palm Desktop 4.0 for OS9 and OSX.....

I just finished downloading the Palm Desktop 4.0 beta for OS X. Sync'ed my i300 with IR on my G4 TiBook. IR failed halfway through the first time and the G4 wouldn't recognize the IR port until I rebooted. Worked without a hitch the second time through.

Issue: Doesn't have an AvantGo or other 3rd party conduits, so functionality is, at present, limited. What's there appears to work well, though.

Now, if only I could charge my battery via IR... Nikola Tesla, are you listening??

installed the OS9 version and it seems to be sync'ing 100% of the time so far....
