I have been waiting for the i500 but I am considering picking up an i300 (they are going for $100 on ebay..my question is the i300 a vision phone on Sprint??

nope... not vision. You need at least the I330.

actually i liked my i300 plan alot. you get the "wireless web" package for $5 (i think) a month, and that gives you 50 text messages a month and your minutes are one single pool that your voice and data both draw from. no bandwidth restrictions or anything, data calls are free on nights and weekends just like voice. its not all bad.
