Can't figure this email thing out...

Well, I got my I300 today, service with SprintPCS here in Atlanta, and cannot figure out how to retrieve my Mediaone pop3 email through SprintWeb.

Can someone help me understand what settings I should make? I have gone onto Sprint's website and added pop.atl.mediaone.net as an external mail provider, but when I send messages to that mailbox from another computer, they are not relayed to the I300.

Can someone coach me to make sure that I have the right settings?

Thanks,

First thing you need to do is download the Eudora email program from www.eudora.com . Once you install it on your I300, set up your mediaone account in Eudora. Eudora will ask you for the name of your pop3 server, username, password, etc so that it can set up the account...its pretty straight forward. If you still can't figure it out after downloading and installing Eudora, post again and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

Mary, this was just what I needed! Eudora's software was easy to install and configure. I just pulled my first email relay from Mediaone, and it does just what I had hoped for.

Thanks,

John
