Does anyone want polyphonic alarms? Should I port my new i330 hack?

Does the i300 community care about Polyphonic alarms? I'm putting the finishing touches on my i330 alarm hack that allows the phone ringer and led (including vibrate) to be used for palm alarms (ie. datebook, etc) to get some real volume.

It would be a quick port for the i300 -- but since I'm not going to use it (I have the i330) -- I'll only post it if some of you out there really want it.

All in due time... I've only had an i300 for a few weeks now. I think a new approach to graffiti skins, phone pad skins, polyphonic/led/vibrating alarms and full screen VNC is a good start!

Scott

Scott ... Scott he's our man if he can't do it .. maybe Jake can!!!!

Yippiee .... I'm so jazzed ... first today my I330 data cable came ... syncing and modeming to the laptop ...

Then .. Scott anounces the hack of my dreams is just a short time from publishing ...

Pay Pal on the way buddy .... I'm always willing to help if ya need it and always to help with the paypal ... although .. being new to this I'm not sure how much to send ... so I just send what I think it's worth to me .. and this is a biggie .. ... being deef and loosing the ability to hear the alarms has quite frankly SUCKED ... I finally can divorce myself from the Sprintpcs.com calender ... and the round about way I have to get reminders ...

Thanks again Scott .. for all your work .. know in your heart that this I330 user truely appreciates the work!!!!

Okay -- then, sounds like some people might appreciate it... so, without further ado, I'm proud to announce

i300 Alarm Extension
Do you hate the quiet palm-os alarm on your i300 or i330? Now you don't have to put up with it! The i300 and i330 Alarm Extensions are X-Master extensions that lets you use
the i300/i330's polyphonic ringers for palm-os alarms!
Requires X-Master.

Download from:
http://i330.nopdesign.com/apps.html

I hope you enjoy it. Like all of my apps, it's freeware, and free to redistribute. However, if you have it to spare, a small donation is welcome. You can donate through paypal from the http://i330.nopdesign.com homepage.

Thanks Scott!!

Donation enroute. For those of us who are i300 loyalists (or too poor to afford an upgrade), it's nice to know we're still though of!

Love this forum, love my i300. Hope my boss doesn't find out how much time I spend bouncing around in here each day!

For those interested -- I just posted an updated version that includes a ShutUp Extension that let's you use the volume/scroll down keys to silence alarms.

Scott-

Is this still in the works for the I300? If so, could you give everyone an update on this?

Also, just wanted to say thanks for all the apps you have put out for the I300. I am having a lot of fun creating skins!

I released the i300 version a couple months ago. You can download it from my site, http://i330.nopdesign.com/apps.html -- just click the "Download i300 Alarm Extension Now!" link under the i300/i330 alarm extension.

I was just curious if this was still in the works and if it could indeed be done.

Also, now that you are reading this...

Can you give me some tips/advice on how to make jpeg images of people come out and look pretty good on your skins. How can I convert/adjust them so that they look best. I tried converting them to 256 colors before uploading them, but they come out horrible doing this. I am probably missing a step or something. I have downloaded some skins on your site with "people" in them and they look pretty darn good. The ones I have done with JLo don't look as clear or defined.

Thanks for any input/help/advise.

Take Care!
