I'm lookng to buy the Samsung hands free car kit. If someone has a used one in good condition, please let me know. I'm planning on keeping my i300 a bit longer.

See my ebay auction I just listed... Everything is brand new, never used, other than the brain and cradle!

Why would anyone need a "hands free" kit for a phone with a wonderful working speakerphone?

I'm being serious and am honestly curious.. unless it makes it possible for me to merely look at my 300 and it automatically changes to speaker phone, (only when I want it too of course) what's the use?

A few reasons...

To be totally hands free. I burn about 4000 minutes a month on average and 3000 of those are in my vehicle, I like to have the permanant place for my phone when I step in.

To charge the phone. It's nice to always have that full battery.

The hands free kit has its own speaker that comes with it and is much louder than the speaker in the phone. It's pretty loud.

A better mic..I can have all 4 windows and sunroof open in my Yukon XL and doing 80 on the freeway and most people can hardly tell they are on speaker phone, unlike using the phone itself.

And most importantly it looks cool.
