I just got the sph-1300 and am trying to sync it for the first time and when it starts it prompts me for a password. I have not activated the phone and probally won't for a few days so the last 4 digits of the phone do not work. I also tried four zeros as well to no avail. According to the manual that came with my phone if you have not activated your phone yet, when you hot sync the password that needs to be entered is 4 zeros "0000". If you have activated your phone the password needed at hot sync should be the last four digits of your phone number.

That is directly from the manual.

I agree Laurie, otherwise looks like the best measure may be to jump on the horn with customer care. You won't have to wait long.
