I use 4 for call id, and badinage for non-caller id. i must agree, the ringers are kinda boring...too bad it doesnt have the midi songs other phones have.

Well I'll admit that for the past week I've been using Xmas tree.
I generally use number 6. Also agree that the ringers are oh so disappointing.

Talking Ringer Tones

I use Ringer 4 for Caller ID and Non Caller ID calls. It sounds very similar to Ringer 6.

I've played around with a couple of different tones and really haven't found anything I like.

Marctronixx what do you use??

anybody use ringer 2? i thought that was the coolest, until I started to get sick of it since my girlfriend was using that on her SCH-6100. Both the 6100 and the I300 have very similar ringers, if not the same!

Sillen I had the 6100 and am very displeased with the similarity in ring tones. Isn't it odd how something as minute as a ringtone can get so deeply underneath our skin?

I use Ringer #1, basically because it seems the loudest, but even it is not loud enough for me!

I like Ringer 8 -- kinda funky.

Downloadable ringers would be nice, but I guess we didn't spend enough on our phones.... :p

I gotta agree here. I used to have the Nokia 3360 and on it's loud setting, I could here it in the car with the windows down and the stereo blaring. This one I have to keep in my pants pocket so that I'll feel the vibration when it rings.

It's fine for when I'm at the office or at home, but if I go out in a crowd or while I'm driving, the ringer is just not loud enough.

I use Badinage for ringer and march for unknown. My brother is a musician and played a beautiful version of Badinage once and I always think of it when the phone rings now. How sappy can you get?

Question

Chaps,

Any updates on ringers? I was hoping you bright folks had found a way to make the ringers LOUDER, or discovered more non-musical alerts. I just want a nice shrill ring!

Thanks in advance......

Cheers,

Quick question, in the Kyocera6035, if you use an overclocker (Fast CPU, or Afterburner) your tones sounds more high pitched, hence sounding louder, has anybody tried this or see if it works on the I-300

P.S. I would try it myself but I'm still waiting for my I-300 to come in the mail......
Patience.......Patience.........

theres a guy on here who has opened his case.. perhaps since he is in the "experiment" stage, maybe he would do it..

but with the lackluster ringers on the i300, it may sound awful... (yuck):p
