New Phone

All of this talk about new phones coming out... and I have yet to see one on the market that I would trade in my i300 for. I am tempted by the Toshiba, but with the price tag and limited features, I am not making that jump anytime soon.

When can we expect to see these truely innovative devices (like the nexio) on the market for us to buy. How long do we need to wait for this next gereration to be available? Are we looking at more than a year?

I love my i300.... but I am ready for new technology!

hello

You can try for two weeks T-Mobil Pocket PC .

I went to T-Mobil store in Philadelphia CC .

The price for the phone $549 . I told them , what on Amazon.com

giving $200 mail in rebate . And they gave me phone for $350 .

I paid : $428 ,-

$28 tax

$50 cupon mail in rebate

$350 for Pocket PC Phone is not to bad .
.......................................................................

One thing , what I like very much about Pocket PC phone ,

is the really good screan resolution . I read lots of books

on my Samsung I-300 , but Microsoft Reader is exelent .

You can read even on SunLite .

You,ll be in shock , what you can do with Inciming Call sounds .

Download any Wave files from internet and use them as

a phone Ring sounds (Get the screams of your mother in low ,

use as a phone ring sound , - SHE,LL LOVE IT)

Play QUAKE on your phone (man its good resolution)

I can see only one problem on that phone : We need Jake

with his hack's . Problem , need some kind like MULTIHACK

from Jake . Couse have to use Stylus alot . More then on

Samsung I-300 . But its fixible problem .

on the lake?

sprint baby... your new PPC doesn't have that great sprint $4 monthly insurance! what are you doing out on the water with that?! throwing caution to the wind since you got such a deal? pull that sims card out and put it in a cheapo noika when doing your waterworld expositions dude... better yet... enjoy the water and sun and leave it behind!

seriously though... thanks for confirming my suspicion about increased need of stylus use on PPC.

P800

russdog, have you seen the Sony/Ericsson P800 yet? I'm looking forward to its Bluetooth + multimedia capabilities...

It's everything I want in a smartphone. I'm concerned about software for the new OS (Symbian 7), but it does look promising. It's also rumored to be expensive, maybe $700 - $800 when it comes out.

How do the phones compair...

I like the look of the T-mobile unit... but I am stuck with Sprint for a while...

I was wondering how the T-mobile PPC phone compairs to the Toshiba PPC? Can anyone give me any insights.

Also, I know there is some kind of expansion slot available on the phone, but is it only useful for memory? I would really like to find something that would work with 802.11b.

Thanks!

Russ

SD, not SDIO

Sorry, the slot on your T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition is Secure Digital, but doesn't support SDIO, so it's memory-only.
