Do you mean use the phone as a wireless modem for your laptop? I don't think that's possible, unfortunately.

Also, you'll need to download Jake's Grafitti hack in order to skin that part of your phone. The following thread has instructions as well as some skins you can use if you don't want to design your own:

Belkin makes a serial -> USB converter for PDAs. I bought one at Best Buy about a year ago, works fine. I can hotsync and use use the I300 as a wireless modem using the cradle and the adapter. Note though that you won't gain any addtional speed by using the adapter. The bottleneck is still the I300's serial interface.
