Trouble at home

I love my I300!
I love it at work, love it in the car and love it while traveling. I have been in lots of different parts of the country since getting t with very little problem.
However, I have a major problem in my home. When I am on the phone, it constantly cuts in and out, to the point where I simply call the person back on a landline.
If I am not on the phone I can walk around the house and watch the phone go back and forth from digital to analog.

Any suggestions as to what would cause this would be appreciated.

Mike, sounds like you are in a fringe area. What PRL version do you have? Go to the main phone screen, drop down the menues, select options then version.. the bottom of S/W version should say P:SPRL100xx, what version does yours say?

Reception Problem

I have the same problem. I have no reception in my home at all...to the point that the phone doesn't even ring..the messages just go right to my voice mail.

I have P:SPRL10014. Is there an update I should get?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have P:sprl10015

After I posted this message I was chatting with a neighbor who uses a different carrier and he is having the same problem. He was told that there is no tower near by for any carrier and we are working off some kind of transponders or relays.

I guess that is the basic problem, and short of moving I gues I will have to live with it

Thanks for the help

15 should be the latest prl.

yes its likely you are in a fringe area. nothing you can really do but stay on top od sprint and write to them advising of your coverage issues. it owuld be great to get some more folks involved but that would take some effort on your part..

i just moved and our coverage at our new location is very bad...

the latest prl may or may not help out , just keep that in mind...
